About Me
I was born in the UK, but I grew up in Australia, Japan, and the UK. Since college, I’ve been living in Tokyo.
I’ve lived in three countries and visited 26 more. But out of everywhere I’ve been, Japan is my favorite. It’s also the easiest place to live, in my opinion.
That’s why I work as a private tour guide more than 100 days a year, showing people around Japan and the Tokyo area I love so much.
I believe Japanese craftsmanship is the best in the world. I love introducing it to visitors and seeing how happy it makes them. When someone says, “I had such a fun day with Eriko” it means everything to me. That’s what makes this job so rewarding.
But here’s the thing—these amazing places are popular with locals too. It’s really hard to get same-day bookings. I’ve had guests ask me for nail salons, head spas, or great restaurants on the spot, and I just couldn’t get them in. It’s such a shame. After all, you’ve planned your trip, flown hours to get here… and you deserve the best experience.
That’s why I started Enmusubi Tours.
“Enmusubi” means connecting people. And the fact that you’re here, reading this, is already a special connection.
With Enmusubi Tours, I want to connect you to Japan’s top creators and help you make memories you’ll never forget.
